In Grand Theft Auto: Vice City there are 88 missions to complete: 62 Main Storyline Missions, 4 Offroad Checkpoint Challenges, 4 Chopper Checkpoints, 3 Hyman Memorial Stadium Events, 3 RC Missions, the Shooting Range, 6 Street Races, and 5 Vehicle Missions.

STORY MISSIONS

Your first task in the 100% Completion of GTA Vice City is to complete all 62 main storyline missions. These also include the Asset Missions and the Payphone Assassination Missions.

CHECKPOINT CHALLENGES

In GTA: Vice City there are four off-road side missions that require you to pass through a certain number of checkpoints within a time period. These missions are required for 100% completion.

100% Completion Rewards

It is possible to complete 100% Completion of GTA Vice City with the use of cheats, but using them will prevent you from unlocking achievements or trophies. There are several rewards for completing 100% of GTA: Vice City.

Achievements and Trophies

The following achievements and trophies can be achieved during multiple playthroughs of the game. These are discussed in a separate section as these are may or may not naturally happen during first playthrough of the game.

Born in the 80's

Listen to all music stations at least once

To get this trophy you have to listen to a full song in each radio station. Do note that K-Chat and VCPR are talk radio stations with no music. Once you have listened to a full song in each radio station, turn off the radio and you will earn the trophy.

One is Better Than Two

Perform a 30 second wheelie

To get this trophy you need to first find a motorcycle or dirt bike. There are a few good spots where you can do a 30-second wheelie, like the runway at the airport or Ocean Beach. Make sure to find a long flat stretch with no inclines and ridges to perform the wheelie as accurate as possible. Pull most of the way back on the anolog stick or LEFT CTRL on PC and tap the accelerator repeatedly to balance and limit your speed. Try to keep as straight as possible.

Bull in a China Shop

Cause $1,000,000 in property damage

This trophy can come naturally as you play the game and cause mayhem all around Vice City. The more vehicles you destroy, the more property damage you cause. You can track your progress for property damage in the Stats menu. So just keep causing mayhem and the trophy will eventually pop up.

Catch Me if You Can

Achieve a six-star wanted level

This trophy can come naturally as you play the game and keep attracting police attention by continuously shooting NPCs and blowing up vehicles. You can also steal a tank and go on a rampage to easily get 6 stars. The Cop Land storyline mission also gives an easier go as well.

Greasy Palms

Use a police bribe to reduce your wanted level

This trophy can come naturally as you find police bribes around Vice City to reduce your wanted level after you have attracted police attention.

Keepie-Uppy Okie Dokie

Earn a high score of 5 with the Keepie-Uppy Beach Ball

To get this trophy, go to the mansion northeast of Vercetti Mansion and walk into the beach ball to launch it into the air and position yourself under it before it lands.

I'm Famous!

Earn the Stuff of Legends media attention rank

This trophy can come naturally as you play the game and cause mayhem all around Vice City. Your media attention increases by the level of media attention you get in one killing spree. You can track your progress for highest media attention in the Stats menu. So just keep causing mayhem and go on killing sprees and the trophy will eventually pop up.

Don't Need Roads

Hit max speed in a Deluxo

This trophy can come as you earn the Deluxo as a reward for the Sunshine Autos Import Garage List 1. Once you complete the list and earn the Deluxo, hop into it and head to the Airport Runway and drive at full speed to get the trophy.

Bloodstained Hands

Earn the Butcher criminal rating

This trophy can come as you play the game and commit crimes and make money. Your Criminal Rating increases the more accurate your shooting is, the more crimes you commit, and the more vehicles you blow up. You can get this trophy naturally as you go for the Take the Cannoli trophy.

Take the Cannoli

Earn the Godfather criminal rating

This trophy can come naturally as you play the game and commit crimes and make money. Your Criminal Rating increases the more accurate your shooting is, the more crimes you commit, and the more vehicles you blow up. You have to earn at least $10,000,000 and have a total of 100.000 points to unlock this trophy. There are several ways to increase your criminal rating. Destroying a plane or helicopter awards 30 points, each NPC wasted awards 1 point, you earn 5 points per every 1% accuracy, you earn 1 point for each criminal killed during the Vigilante mission, and you also earn 1 point for every $5,000 you make, up to a maximum of 200,000 points. You can see here several exploits and glitches to help get the trophy easier.

Offender

Attain 50 wanted stars

This achievement can come naturally as you play the game and keep attracting police attention by continuously shooting NPCs and blowing up vehicles. You can track the total amount of wanted stars you have attracted in the Stats menu.

Retro Lewk

Wear every outfit in the game at least once

This achievement can come naturally as you complete the main storyline of GTA Vice City. There are a total of 12 different outfits in the game. After you have completed the game, you will have worn 7 of them. You will have to wear 5 different outfits: Mr. Vercetti, Casual, Tracksuit, Tracksuit, and Frankie. Break it Up

Cause $500,000 in property damage

This achievement can come naturally as you play the game and cause mayhem all around Vice City. The more vehicles you destroy, the more property damage you cause. You can track your progress for property damage in the Stats menu. So just keep causing mayhem and the trophy will eventually pop up.

Target Practice

Perform 50 headshots

This achievement can come naturally as you keep blowing heads off enemies and NPC's. You can change your aim settings to manually aim at each person you shoot and go for the head easier. You can track how many headshots you have performed in the Stats menu.
