Missions
In Grand Theft Auto V there are a total of 69 Story Missions to complete for 100% Completion. These also include all of Lester's Assassination Missions (It is recommended to save these missions for after the end of the Storyline for a Stock Market Bonus!). Please note that to attain the 100% Gold Medal for all missions with a time objective, all cutscenes must be skipped. The cutscenes can be watched later in a Mission Replay or in a different playthrough.

Throughout and after the Storyline of Grand Theft Auto V, there are mainly two ways to make a huge profit to increase your income in-game: The Story Heists and the Stock Market.
Best Heist Approach & Heist Crews for Highest Payout
Throughout the story, you will play different heists with all three story characters. For these heists, you have to choose the right approach, team members, and complete different setups for the heist. Maximizing both your "Take" and your "Cut" for each character from each and every heist is mainly done by choosing the right team members with the lowest take possible. Here is a guide for who to pick for each heist. Do note that you have to complete a few random events to unlock additional heist team members.

BAWSAQ and LCN Stock Market Guide
After completing Lester's first assassination mission, it is recommended to delay starting the next mission and the rest of the assassination missions until after the completion of the storyline to gain maximum profit and earn around $2.1 billion. Here is a stock market guide for how to maximize the income for all three characters in GTA V using both BAWSAQ and LCN stock markets using the assassination missions and the random event. You can access the stock markets through your phone or any computer. Do note that you would want to sell all of the stocks that all three characters have invested, not just one. Also note that when you are saving, use the character's bed in their safehouse as it advances time and allows for the stock values to change over time. Michael advances time for 6 hours, Franklin advances time for 8 hours, and Trevor advances time for 12 hours.

The Merryweather Investment is the most dangerous investment you could do in the game, but if you nail the right time (it takes a long time for Merryweather to make a profit, so in this case, patience is key), you could double your money.

In addition to the main storyline missions, there are also encounters given by random characters throughout the state of San Andreas, otherwise known as Stranger and Freaks. You have to complete at least 20 out of all 58 available Stranger and Freaks Missions, which are all the missions related to Franklin, for 100% Completion. In addition to Grand Theft Auto 5's main storyline missions, there are also encounters that spawn randomly throughout the state of San Andreas, otherwise known as Random Events. 100% Completion Rewards
In order to complete GTA 5 100%, you basically only have to do the activities that are related to Franklin. There are several rewards for completing 100% of Grand Theft Auto V.

Career Criminal 
Achievements and Trophies
The following achievements and trophies can be achieved during one or multiple playthroughs of the game. These are discussed in a separate section as these are may or may not naturally happen during first playthrough of the game. Do note that trophies for Multiplayer will not be covered as this guide is more single player story mode focused, but the multiplayer trophies are easy to understand as well as they are pretty self explanatory.
Solid Gold, Baby!
You earned 70 Gold Medals on Missions and Strangers and Freaks.
This trophy can be naturally unlocked as you keep fulfilling gold medal objectives for story missions and strangers and freaks missions. After completing a mission, you can also replay that mission through the pause menu. Replay and go for the Gold Medal Objectives if you haven't got one already.
San Andreas Sightseer 
You explored all of Los Santos and Blaine County.
This trophy can be naturally unlocked as you keep exploring the entire map of San Andreas by completing story related missions, non story related, activities and collectibles. To explore the map faster and unlock the trophy, you can grab a helicopter from any airfield you can find and fly around the whole map as fast as you can.
Three Man Army
You survived for 3 minutes on at least a 3 star Wanted Level with all three characters together.
To get this trophy, your best bet is to play as Franklin and call both Michael and Trevor to hang out. Pick them up, then get a three star wanted level by killing cops and such. Once you have a high enough wanted level, get back in your vehicle, wait for Michael and Trevor to get in, and use Franklin's special ability to easily drive around for three minutes with the wanted level (if you lose the cops before the trophy pops up, get back in the police zone so they can find you).
Out of Your Depth
You needed a bigger boat... or ANY boat!
To get this trophy, grab a boat from the marina and head out to sea. Keep going as far as you can until you can see some dangerous sharks swimming around in the water. Who knows what happens when you get near one...
Altruist Acolyte
You delivered an unsuspecting victim to the Altruist Cult.
When playing as Trevor, Trevor can sometimes alternatively deliver Random Event: Hitch Lift 3 and 4 passengers to the Altruist Cult for a reward of $2,000. Delivering any other passenger is not recommended, as some have far more value if left alive.
A Lot of Cheddar
You spent a total of $200 million across all three characters.
This trophy can be naturally unlocked as you purchase clothes, car mods, haircuts, tattos, weapons, properties, and vehicles as you continuously play as Franklin, Michael and Trevor altogether. A quicker way to get this trophy is to invest in the Stock Market with the Assassination Missions (See above in Tips for Maximizing Income) - doing this can also help you spend $200 Million across the protagonists faster!
Pimp My Sidearm
You fully modded a weapon.
This trophy can be naturally unlocked as you purchase existing and new weapons across the game. To fully mod a weapon you have to purchase everything for a single weapon at an Ammu-Nation.
Los Santos Customs
You fully modded a vehicle.
This trophy can be naturally unlocked as you purchase existing and new vehicles across the game. To fully mod a vehicle you have to purchase at least one item in every single category at a Mod Shop.
A New Perspective

This trophy can be naturally unlocked as you play a new game of GTA V in first person mode. To enter first person mode you have to press the touchpad on your controller or press V on PC. Going AFK in first person mode can also help get the trophy if you have already completed enough of the game in third person mode. You can track how much time you have spent in first person mode via the Pause Menu.
